I created this app after noticing a recurring problem in recruiting: reviewing and comparing CVs at scale. I wanted to explore how AI could help analyze resumes in bulk, so I built CVLens as a fast experiment. I shipped the first version in a couple of days, using OpenRouter and testing several free models before settling on Gemini Flash 3. I shared it on LinkedIn and received strong feedback from the HR community. I did not continue maintaining it long-term—it was primarily a learning project built for experimentation and to let others try it.
